Jul 13 19:05:04 <kanarip>    this is what is running on frontier, related to fedora unity: http://fpaste.org/paste/3535

Jul 13 19:05:09 *    EvilBob notes FedoraLinks.org is a personal domain of mine that we are not using

Jul 13 19:05:27 <kanarip>    we're gonna need a way to keep track of who owns the domains

Jul 13 19:05:44 <kanarip>    or who's able to login to the provider and renew the contract, and which are actually unity's

Jul 13 19:05:44 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:05:51 <kanarip>    EOF

Jul 13 19:06:18 <VileGent>    !

Jul 13 19:06:49 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:07:19 *    Sonar_Guy indicates that the satellite is out again so Sonar_Gal will run the meeting from my laptop

Jul 13 19:07:23 <EvilBob>    The 5 original domains were all registered with Network SOlutions because that is who I used for my business, if we want to transfer them to save money ($35.00 per year) so be it but I really suggest against it, NetSol has done great for me for years.

Jul 13 19:07:26 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:07:50 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:08:07 <Sonar_Guy>    EvilBob: +2

Jul 13 19:08:46 <VileGent>    hopefully by the end of the year we will have the NPO set up so the next time for renewal all need to be put in the nop name

Jul 13 19:08:59 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:09:01 <VileGent>    npo's name

Jul 13 19:09:03 <VileGent>    eof

Jul 13 19:09:09 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:09:27 <EvilBob>    All the domains I have registered in the past show "Fedora COmmunity" as the owner

Jul 13 19:09:29 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:09:56 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:10:14 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:10:16 <VileGent>    !

Jul 13 19:10:56 <EvilBob>    Having as many domains as we are sure we want to keep long term under one registrar is maybe a good idea, having other secondary domains with a cheaper option may also help us financially. EOF

Jul 13 19:11:13 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:11:24 <VileGent>    so how much money are we talking for the renewal ? eof

Jul 13 19:11:27 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:11:38 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:11:51 <EvilBob>    A minimum of $70 by mid November

Jul 13 19:12:09 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:12:12 <EvilBob>    if we raise enough money it is worth it to renew for multiple years

Jul 13 19:12:17 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:12:30 <VileGent>    ?

Jul 13 19:12:35 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:13:14 <Sonar_Guy>    can we renew them early as in Jan for multiple years?  If we register what needs to be done now for 1 year in Jan WE gal and I  could see about registering all the domains for 5 years.

Jul 13 19:13:16 <Sonar_Guy>    EOF

Jul 13 19:13:17 *    EvilBob will look up the price/discount breakdown if needed

Jul 13 19:13:48 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:13:48 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:14:15 <VileGent>    what is the full price breakdown 70 for 3 for one year or what

Jul 13 19:14:25 <VileGent>    and multiple years are how much?

Jul 13 19:14:30 <VileGent>    eof

Jul 13 19:14:45 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:14:45 <EvilBob>    Yes we can renew at anytime before they expire. so if we cover 1 year now and multiple later we can.

Jul 13 19:15:11 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:15:23 <EvilBob>    I will get the price breakdown after the meeting and attach it to the meeting notes if that is OK

Jul 13 19:15:51 <EvilBob>    I would take some time and I don't want to miss anything

Jul 13 19:16:12 <EvilBob>    We are talking about 2 domains for 1 year @ $34.95 per

Jul 13 19:16:27 <EvilBob>    that is the minimum we need to do at this time

Jul 13 19:16:29 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:16:38 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:16:48 <kanarip>    !

Jul 13 19:17:12 <Sonar_Guy>    So we would need a minimum of 70 prior to november 1

Jul 13 19:17:16 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:17:20 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to kanarip

Jul 13 19:17:26 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:17:31 <kanarip>    if you'll let me get these this time i can renew them for 3 years at 0.75% of the price

Jul 13 19:17:43 <Sonar_Guy>    ?

Jul 13 19:17:46 <kanarip>    given the exchange rates etc.

Jul 13 19:17:46 <kanarip>    EOF

Jul 13 19:18:21 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:18:26 <EvilBob>    35 by Nov 1, 35 by Nov 14, but the sooner the better so we don't forget again

Jul 13 19:18:32 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:18:37 <zcat>    why stick with overpriced network solutions?

Jul 13 19:18:48 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:18:57 <Sonar_Guy>    kanarip: would this be through netsol?

Jul 13 19:18:58 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:19:03 <kanarip>    Sonar_Guy, yes

Jul 13 19:19:04 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to zcat

Jul 13 19:19:12 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:19:25 <zcat>    sorry, i don't get this format. just had one Q.

Jul 13 19:19:31 <Sonar_Guy>    ok

Jul 13 19:19:35 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:20:27 <EvilBob>    zcat: I have been doing business with NetSol since 1999, they have always been 100% straight up and great to work with, I have tried others and had problems with transfers and DNS settings and so on

Jul 13 19:20:50 <EvilBob>    it is worth it to know you own your domains

Jul 13 19:20:54 *    Sonar_Guy shows those not familiar with our meetings the link http://fedoraunity.org/fup/meeting-guidelines/

Jul 13 19:21:05 <zcat>    EvilBob, i got my first domains from NetSol when they were still free (in '94ish). i moved to Gandi.net then to GoDaddy for the huge price discount.

Jul 13 19:21:50 *    kanarip is in favor of good, not cheap

Jul 13 19:21:50 <EvilBob>    some of the lower priced out fits have claimed owership of domains that were transfered by some of my former clients when they wanted to move

Jul 13 19:22:07 <Sonar_Guy>    kanarip: +2

Jul 13 19:22:10 <EvilBob>    that is all I know

Jul 13 19:22:11 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:22:15 <kanarip>    !

Jul 13 19:22:20 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to kanarip

Jul 13 19:22:36 <zcat>    GoDaddy has a 'domain lock' feature, which i don't recall how it works, but nobody can just steal a domain out from under you.

Jul 13 19:22:36 <kanarip>    here's the deal; i can put the money on the table right-away, and get this over with for the next three years

Jul 13 19:22:38 <kanarip>    EOF

Jul 13 19:22:53 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:22:57 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:23:00 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:23:09 <kanarip>    oh, you cheat ;-)

Jul 13 19:23:49 <Sonar_Guy>    kanarip: the goal I guess would be to get all the domains on the same cycle, so we can renew them all at once vice scattered throughout the year. eof

Jul 13 19:23:53 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:24:08 <kanarip>    Sonar_Guy, +1-ish

Jul 13 19:24:20 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:24:26 <EvilBob>    kanarip: I appreciate the offer, however you covered 3 years on 2 domains last year, I don't want you to be taking on a majority of this. If you insist, and i know you will, if it is OK with the others I am fine with it

Jul 13 19:24:49 <EvilBob>    I will not Veto it

Jul 13 19:24:49 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:24:57 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:25:50 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:26:07 <VileGent>    something tells me Sonar_Guy just got bounced

Jul 13 19:26:11 <Sonar_Guy>    if we get the two for 1 year prior to november, Sonar_Gal and I will cover the footing for all the domains that kanarip listed earlier in the meeting so that the all expire on the same date 5 years from Jan 20 or so

Jul 13 19:26:14 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:26:17 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to viking-ice

Jul 13 19:26:23 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:26:59 <VileGent>    i dont think we have any problem for november

Jul 13 19:27:04 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:27:23 <VileGent>    if nothing else i will cover the 2 myself

Jul 13 19:27:43 <VileGent>    but after that lets get them all on the same cycle  eof

Jul 13 19:27:46 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:27:49 <EvilBob>    I agree with Ben, November will not be a problem one way or another, we are planning ahead better than we have ever before

Jul 13 19:28:06 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:28:09 *    fabian_a has quit (Read error: 110 (Connection timed out))

Jul 13 19:28:26 <EvilBob>    Once upon a time all the bils were mine, now that I am not working I have NO PROBLEM sharing the costs

Jul 13 19:28:46 <EvilBob>    so I want to leave a lot of this up to you guys

Jul 13 19:29:20 <EvilBob>    I need to ask did we have anyother business before we beat this horse a little more?

Jul 13 19:29:21 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:30:11 <Sonar_Guy>    In january Sonar_Gal and I get our inheritance payment and will ensure that we will cover the costs of the domain registrations for 5 years as a donation to our cause.

Jul 13 19:30:25 <kanarip>    +1

Jul 13 19:30:25 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:30:31 *    kanarip is picking up the bill until then

Jul 13 19:30:35 <kanarip>    period - full stop

Jul 13 19:30:38 <Sonar_Guy>    We will make that donation as we fully believe in the good that we as Fedora Unity is doing.

Jul 13 19:30:41 <VileGent>    lol

Jul 13 19:30:46 <Sonar_Guy>    EOF

Jul 13 19:30:56 <kanarip>    thank you sonars, BTW ;-)

Jul 13 19:31:18 <EvilBob>    thank all three of you

Jul 13 19:31:39 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to kanarip

Jul 13 19:31:41 <kanarip>    On the topic of our latest respin and how respinning is going to continue:

Jul 13 19:31:47 <kanarip>    Revisor is continuing to move forward how composes are being done, with back- and forward compatibility being preserved in between releases. Business proposals have been made to me personally, especially by those seeking compose tools for appliance software.

Jul 13 19:31:53 <kanarip>    Since I'm a nerd I do not want appliance software to be a 'yum install' to a loopmounted filesystem like Live Media is right now, instead I'm looking for ways to customly recompile Source RPMs removing requirements and providing only the capabilities required by the appliance - this is going to be a major focus over the next few months.

Jul 13 19:31:56 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:31:57 <kanarip>    Respinning will have ppc and ppc64 archs available soon-ish, but it's a little to premature to share all the details; let's say we're getting a co-located PPC64 quad core box.

Jul 13 19:32:04 <kanarip>    Long story short, I'll need some help in testing composes every once in a while in between the times when we actually do Re-Spins, to catch any issues sooner, before we try and compose Re-Spins. I'll get some page up and running describing the process for everyone to use so that everyone is able to compose Re-Spins on their own, so that the issues (like with package ordering right now) get caught earlier in our process to compose/test/release a Re

Jul 13 19:32:21 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:32:21 <kanarip>    that's all i had prepped on the topic ;-)

Jul 13 19:32:27 <EvilBob>    kanarip and I will get together when he wants and we will get this year done

Jul 13 19:32:56 <EvilBob>    I will then work with the Sonars to get things sorted after the new year

Jul 13 19:38:45 <Sonar_Gal>    for the last topic

Jul 13 19:38:59 <kanarip>    last one?

Jul 13 19:39:09 <kanarip>    Live Spins / Spin SIG

Jul 13 19:39:09 <kanarip>    As communicated over the mailing lists, doing Live Media Re-Spins have some major advantages to our community and have been requested a lot... We're gonna need to decide whether we include them in our compose/testing procedures, and then decide (after testing) whether we can/will release them.

Jul 13 19:39:09 <kanarip>    The Spin SIG is interested in examining exactly how Re-Spins as well as Live Media Re-Spins are going to be distributed with help of, or via, the Fedora Project, but right now it's busy getting the Fedora 9 spins we lost (Gamer, Developer, Electronic Lab, XFCE).

Jul 13 19:39:10 <kanarip>    This also includes the official distribution of our Re-Spins; The Spin SIG (/me) is going to propose our release process to be approved and officially blessed by everyone involved so that we can maybe use Infra@FP.O, aiding in distribution, a listing on spins.fp.o, etc.

Jul 13 19:39:13 <kanarip>    EOF

Jul 13 19:39:32 *    kanarip has a topic on the trademark policy as well btw

Jul 13 19:39:41 <Sonar_Gal>    correct

Jul 13 19:40:04 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:40:07 <kanarip>    basically this topic is: do we want to start doing Live Media Re-Spins?

Jul 13 19:40:21 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:40:21 <VileGent>    =1

Jul 13 19:40:27 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:40:41 <VileGent>    !

Jul 13 19:41:01 <Sonar_Guy>    kanarip: I like that idea and would like to see us interface with the people doing the isos via a web interface.  This would allow for custom spins for whoever wanted them be they live or re-spins.

Jul 13 19:41:02 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:41:18 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:41:18 <EvilBob>    kanarip: how much added work will it be at compose time, not to mention what is the distribution plan?

Jul 13 19:41:23 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:41:38 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:41:38 <VileGent>    if we have the time and resources  i am for it eof

Jul 13 19:42:02 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to kanarip

Jul 13 19:42:08 <Sonar_Gal>    VileGent, +1

Jul 13 19:42:15 <kanarip>    in time and resources... composing and prepping for release to testers now takes ~1.5 day

Jul 13 19:42:38 <Sonar_Guy>    ?

Jul 13 19:42:41 <kanarip>    it's not very attendance intensive during that time though

Jul 13 19:43:04 <zcat>    +1       (can't save bandwidth using jigdo with live's though)

Jul 13 19:43:09 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:43:17 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:43:20 <Sonar_Guy>    has anybody taken a look at automating the test process of the re-spin/live spins as we discussed in the past?

Jul 13 19:43:22 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:43:27 <kanarip>    it's starting up the separate processes (compose, make source ISO, running the jigdofing) which in combination with the moments one has to check in on whether the previous process has completed... takes that much time

Jul 13 19:43:42 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:43:45 <kanarip>    Sonar_Guy, yes: Testopia is gaining momentum since the RH Summit

Jul 13 19:43:46 <EvilBob>    kanarip: how far are we to moving to a system that will let me resume the "spinmaster" responsibility or automating?

Jul 13 19:43:51 *    kanarip is sorry for talking out of turn

Jul 13 19:43:57 <VileGent>    !

Jul 13 19:43:58 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:44:07 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to VileGent

Jul 13 19:44:11 <kanarip>    EvilBob, basically, we're ready to do it

Jul 13 19:44:31 *    EvilBob is ready to step up ASAP

Jul 13 19:44:36 <kanarip>    EvilBob, i think the FedoraUnityReSpinHOWTO page will help with that

Jul 13 19:44:52 <Sonar_Guy>    ?

Jul 13 19:45:11 <VileGent>    Sonar_Guy after the summit i have been looking at testopia as a way to do some of our test reporting etc, give them aobut another month to finish shakeing the bugs out of there system then i will get back into it intensively

Jul 13 19:45:13 <VileGent>    eol

Jul 13 19:45:23 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:45:27 <Sonar_Guy>    is that page up yet?  Or is that the paper you have to write still? eof

Jul 13 19:45:38 <kanarip>    == paper i have to write still

Jul 13 19:46:19 <Sonar_Gal>    ok is there anything else for this topic?

Jul 13 19:46:25 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:46:26 *    VileGent makes motion for next issue since this one is getting beat to death

Jul 13 19:46:35 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:46:50 <EvilBob>    kanarip: just let me know when and where you need me

Jul 13 19:46:50 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:47:05 <Sonar_Gal>    ok kanarip next topic

Jul 13 19:47:45 <kanarip>    Update on trademark policy with the Fedora Project

Jul 13 19:47:45 <kanarip>    Laywers are looking into trademark policy changes proposed by the Board. Soft "deadline" for new trademark policy is September 20th, mostly concerning the "based on Fedora" use-case in rebranding, where using the fedora-release and fedora-release-notes is allowed and only fedora-logos needs to be replaced - still it's not very clear what is going to be needed for rebranding fedora, and there's a number of technical problems with it as well. Septem

Jul 13 19:47:45 <kanarip>    ber 20th is set as the release date of the "Orange Sombrero - based on Fedora", and I'm gonna be personally responsible for it.

Jul 13 19:48:02 <kanarip>    let me know if this even makes sense, EOF

Jul 13 19:48:29 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:48:35 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:48:48 <EvilBob>    Will you help me release Bacon Sandwich later?

Jul 13 19:48:50 <EvilBob>    EOF

Jul 13 19:49:15 <Sonar_Guy>    !

Jul 13 19:49:21 <kanarip>    no

Jul 13 19:49:27 <kanarip>    it needs to be a hat of some form ;-)

Jul 13 19:49:27 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to Sonar_Guy

Jul 13 19:49:48 <Sonar_Guy>    This sounds like it will impact our re-spins, unless we get official backing from the Fedora Project.

Jul 13 19:49:51 <Sonar_Guy>    eof

Jul 13 19:50:03 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:50:15 <kanarip>    we sort of have that backing already

Jul 13 19:50:15 <VileGent>    ? explain orange sombrero please

Jul 13 19:50:25 *    Sonar_Gal gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:50:46 <EvilBob>    We have had official permission in the past, from First Greg and later the Board under Max Spevack

Jul 13 19:51:21 <EvilBob>    I would hope that would not change in the future as long as we keep doing things as we have in the past

Jul 13 19:51:23 <EvilBob>    ONLY Fedora packages

Jul 13 19:51:30 <kanarip>    VileGent, it's been the unofficial name for anything spawned off Fedora / Red Hat and mostly used as the term for doing anything Fedora / Red Hat couldn't, or wouldn't do, and would not approve someone else to do

Jul 13 19:51:48 <kanarip>    EvilBob, there's this one package we use that is not in Fedora

Jul 13 19:52:02 <EvilBob>    and only fixes to anaconda that are needed for other package updates to work

Jul 13 19:52:18 <kanarip>    there you go

Jul 13 19:52:30 <kanarip>    the updates to anaconda that I do are gaining momentum with some people involved in upstream anaconda as well

Jul 13 19:52:43 <kanarip>    they realize there's no stopping to it, basically

Jul 13 19:52:57 <EvilBob>    So as long as we "keep our nose clean" as B1 used to say maybe the future will bring what the past has, EOL

Jul 13 19:53:13 <VileGent>    but those fixes are pushed upstream so i really so no problem

Jul 13 19:53:44 <EvilBob>    VileGent: passed upstream, some taken some passed off

Jul 13 19:54:01 *    EvilBob bites his cheek

Jul 13 19:54:15 *    zcat goes crosseyed thinking about a respin named 'Orange Sombrero' because of lawyeringnitpicking...

Jul 13 19:54:24 <kanarip>    zcat, that will not happen ;-)

Jul 13 19:54:38 <Sonar_Guy>    Any thing else on this topic?

Jul 13 19:54:42 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:54:48 <kanarip>    zcat, instead they want to know what is allowed to be called "based on Fedora" - if anything - and add it to the new trademark guidelines

Jul 13 19:54:54 <Sonar_Guy>    Sonar_Gal: is lagging again

Jul 13 19:55:06 *    Sonar_Guy gives the floor to EvilBob

Jul 13 19:55:12 <EvilBob>    I would like to open the floor or close the meeting, I am starting to drift.

Jul 13 19:55:15 <EvilBob>    EOL

Jul 13 19:55:18 <kanarip>    +1

Jul 13 19:55:28 <Sonar_Guy>    I did have 1 more thing to discuss

Jul 13 19:55:37 <Sonar_Guy>    And the floor will be open for it

Jul 13 19:55:42 *    EvilBob needs to walk or something to wake up

Jul 13 19:56:30 <Sonar_Guy>    Since none of us really has the time for weekly meetings I was thinking maybe monthly meetings to get us back into the swing of things and keep everyone updated on what is going on.

Jul 13 19:56:32 *    zcat sets evilbob up the bomb:  http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/8083/batmanbomb3vc.gif

Jul 13 19:56:50 <EvilBob>    !

Jul 13 19:56:56 <Sonar_Guy>    openfloor

Jul 13 19:57:02 <EvilBob>    Second weekend of the month for now?

Jul 13 19:57:19 <Sonar_Guy>    sounds good for us

Jul 13 19:57:22 <EvilBob>    Second FULL weekend of the month for now?

Jul 13 19:57:32 <kanarip>    sure, +1

Jul 13 19:57:34 <VileGent>    +1 with the stipulation we can call other meeting if needed

Jul 13 19:57:59 <EvilBob>    so as long as Saturday is >1 it counts as a full weekend

Jul 13 19:58:00 <kanarip>    i'd recommend using the mailing lists to raise topics and general discussions

Jul 13 19:58:01 <Sonar_Guy>    +2

Jul 13 19:58:10 <EvilBob>    kanarip: +1

Jul 13 19:58:22 <kanarip>    it'll keep our meetings nice and short

Jul 13 19:58:47 <zcat>    isn't the !?!!X meeting stuff supposed to be used to maintain order only when it's really crowded?

Jul 13 19:58:51 <eldric>    *raises hand

Jul 13 19:58:55 <Sonar_Guy>    so say Aug 10th same time?

Jul 13 19:59:22 <EvilBob>    Sonar_Guy: that is cool  with me

Jul 13 19:59:27 <VileGent>    or earlier would be fine me

Jul 13 19:59:29 <Sonar_Guy>    zcat: yes but you haven't seen some of our earlier meetings

Jul 13 19:59:48 <EvilBob>    earlier is tough for me in the summer time with kids

Jul 13 19:59:58 <EvilBob>    zcat: it keeps us from arguing

Jul 13 20:00:06 <Sonar_Guy>    +1  ealier messes with out dinner time

Jul 13 20:00:08 <VileGent>    zcat untill we put those rules in meeting dragged on for hours

Jul 13 20:00:08 <zcat>    EvilBob, oh, well that i can understand :)

Jul 13 20:00:27 <EvilBob>    zcat: we got sick of fighting and this helps us think before hitting enter

Jul 13 20:00:46 <Sonar_Guy>    zcat: 1 meeting I kicked 3-4 people then quit since the arguing was insane

Jul 13 20:01:04 <EvilBob>    VileGent: that is true also and we all ended up walking out on eachother pissed

Jul 13 20:01:19 <Sonar_Guy>    so true

Jul 13 20:01:23 <zcat>    well, i'm pissed your throwing money away at NetSol :)

Jul 13 20:01:25 <EvilBob>     we don't need it

Jul 13 20:01:34 <zcat>    *you're

Jul 13 20:01:35 <EvilBob>    zcat: that is your right

Jul 13 20:01:43 <Harley-D>    zcat, unity will not support godaddy

Jul 13 20:01:45 <eldric>    I actually have an issue to raise in this first meeting I've been in

Jul 13 20:01:58 <eldric>    b4 you guys adjourn

Jul 13 20:01:59 <Harley-D>    at least from what I understand

Jul 13 20:02:03 <Sonar_Guy>    no godaddy

Jul 13 20:02:11 <EvilBob>    zcat: and I will support your vote for a second rate registrar for the non-essential domains

Jul 13 20:02:32 <EvilBob>    No Gotohelldaddy

Jul 13 20:02:33 <Sonar_Guy>    eldric: go for it.  once the floor is open anyone can bring up anytopic they wish

Jul 13 20:03:40 <eldric>    One thing I've noticed on the feedback mailing list is that somehow someone is managing to spam it, I've been getting messages that don't look like they should be there

Jul 13 20:03:56 <EvilBob>    eldric: I can respond to that

Jul 13 20:04:22 <EvilBob>    we use the "feedback@fu.o" address for the forms on the site

Jul 13 20:04:40 <EvilBob>    this is also the address for the feedback mailing list

Jul 13 20:04:57 <EvilBob>    if you do not like the spam please unsub we will handle it

Jul 13 20:05:16 <EvilBob>    it is an easy address for our members to remember

Jul 13 20:05:23 <eldric>    that's cool, I just thought it was some spammers trying to get into the list

Jul 13 20:05:41 <EvilBob>    and we really do not want to change it at this time even though it is a common dictionary word

Jul 13 20:05:57 <EvilBob>    and a easy target for spam

Jul 13 20:06:12 <eldric>    they look like an attempt to join that fails

Jul 13 20:06:24 <EvilBob>    eldric: yup we just let them expire

Jul 13 20:07:15 <Sonar_Guy>    Is there anything else that needs to be brought up for this meeting?
